Station One

4214 Ladson Road

Station 1 also known as headquarters is located at 4214 Ladson Road. This six bay station is equipped with a bunk room, kitchen, two day rooms, chief and captains offices, boardroom and a training room. Station 1 also features the department’s maintenance room, hose room and air room.

This station houses Truck 201, Engine 201, Squad 5 and Engine 209 (reserve).

Headquarter has a first in response that is an even mix of residential and commercial. Station 1 is also responsible for a couple of apartment complexes and a school.

Station Two

706 Miles Road

Summerville, SC 29485

Station 2 is located at 706 Miles Road. This two bay station has a bunk room, kitchen, and day room.

This fire station is responsible for housing Engine 202,

Station 2 has a first in response that is mainly residential with a few automobile repair shops and a church.

Station Three

10410 Dorchester Road

Summerville, SC 29485

Station 3 is located at 10410 Dorchester Road. This two bay station features a bunk room, day room, kitchen, and a captain’s office.

This station houses Engine 203 and Squad 203.

Station 3 is responsible for a large residential area as well as a portion of Highway 61 and Highway 165. Station 3’s first in response also covers two churches and Ashley Ridge High School.

Station Four

938 Orangeburg Road

Station 4 is located at 938 Orangeburg Road. This two bay station has a bunk room, kitchen, day room, and storage room.

This station houses Engine 204 and Squad 204.

The primary first in response for station 4 features a small business area, three churches, four schools, Summerville Airport, and a large residential area.

Station Five

2717 West 5th North Street

Summerville, SC 29483

Station 5 is located at 2717 West 5th North St. This four bay station has a kitchen, bunk room, and day room.

At station 5 you can find Engine 205 and Truck 205

The area around station 5 has is comprised of a large commercial area including; Scout Boats, Linde Material Handling, Linq Incorporated, Summerville Lumber, Knights Concrete, and Dorchester County Sheriff Offices.

Station Six

1475 Highway 61

Ridgeville, SC 29472

Station 6 is located at 1475 Highway 61. This three bay station has a bunk/dayroom, computer room, and separated kitchen. This small station’s bays are separated from the rest of the station.

Trucks at this station include Engine 206 and Tanker 206.

This station is responsible for a large rural residential area as well as a portion of Highway 61.

Station Seven

Hundred Oaks Pkwy & Pottery Circle

Summerville, SC 29483

Station 7 is located in ‘The Ponds’ subdivision located near Highway 61 and Highway 17A.

This four bay station is split with two bays for the fire department and two bays for Dorchester County EMS. This station features a kitchen, day room, six bunk rooms, computer room, two laundry rooms, Dorchester County Sheriff sub station office, and a maintenance room.

Station 7 houses Engine 207, Tanker 207, Medic 7, Gator 1 (DC EMS).
